QIU’s academic receives best paper award at 17th IEEE Conference

Following the tradition of Quest International University Perak (QIU)’s academics bringing in accolades at various academic conferences, Dr. Nurul Rawaida Ain Burhani recently received the best paper presentation award at the 17th IEEE Conference.

 

Held at  Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), Tronoh, Perak, the conference saw  12 technical track sessions with more than 200 participants from all over the world.

 

Dr Nurul, from the Faculty of Science and Technology presented her paper titled “ Predictive Maintenance of Air Booster Compressor (ABC) Motor Failure Using Artificial Neural Network Trained by Particle Swarm Optimization”.

 

This paper is part of her research project for prediction modeling using artificial intelligent, which received Fundamental Research Grant Scheme (FRGS) under Ministry of Higher Education of Malaysia in  2019.

The 2019 17th IEEE Student Conference on Research and Development (SCOReD) is a flagship conference organized by IEEE Malaysia Section and IEEE UTP Student Branch.
