Quest International University Perak (QIU) expanded its network of high-level collaborations today by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with DRB-Hicom University of Automotive Malaysia.
The agreement will see both parties collaborating on jointly conducted academic research projects, with the intention of publication in academic journals or presentation in academic conferences.
Under the new deal, students and staff from both universities will be able to switch places to get fresh educational insights and experiences.
The MoU opens the doors for students from each university to study at the other for one semester. Staff members will be able work as a instructor or researcher at the other university for up to one month.
Both universities will be conducting student mobility programmes for up to one week at a time, and have also agreed to consult each other in the process of developing new academic programmes or amending existing ones.
Signing off on today’s MoU were QIU Chief Operating Officer Nicholas Goh and DHU Vice-Chancellor Dato’ Prof.Dr. Sr.Omar Osman, while QIU Centre’s of Graduate Studies and Research and Dean of the Faculty of Science Prof Dr Vilasini Pillai and DHU Faculty of Engineering and Technology Assoc. Prof Ir Dr Azmi Ahmad witnessed the signing.
