Here are some updates of QIUP’s recent participation in international education fairs:
EDEX Expo Colombo 2016 – 24 – 26 January 2016
We are pleased to share that we received positive engagement in Sri Lanka as part of our Student Recruitment team’s participation in the EDEX Expo Colombo 2016 recently. We thank everyone for their keen interest in QIUP and for such engaging response established at QIUP booth in the Education Malaysia Pavilion, Hall B! The University was represented by members of the Student Recruitment Department; Deputy Director, Mr Ananth Lachumanan and Manager, Puan Badariah Hussain, and was assisted by one of our Sri Lanka Student Representative, Mr Dilip Priyantha.
We hope our fairgrounds team have help students/visitors make the most of their experience during their visit to QIUP career booth in the largest career fair in Sri Lanka recently and we are now eagerly waiting to welcome more international student population from Sri Lanka to QIUP, real soon.
During this trip, the Deputy Director of the Student Recruitment Department, Mr. Ananth Lachumanan had the privileged to accompany our University Chief Operating Officer. Mr Nicholas Goh to attend the inaugural launch of The Colombo School of Business and Management which was held on the 25th of January 2016 with the participation of a large number cooperate leaders in the country. This courtesy visit is also a mark of a significant initiative undertaken by the university to build up possible collaboration between Colombo School of Business and Management and QIUP in the near future, which offers co-branding educational programs.
Malaysia Education Exhibition Fair 2016 – Juba, South Sudan – 30 January 2016
We say, “Kudos” to our representative Mr Ananth Lachumanan, Deputy Director of Student Recruitment Department for the honour of premiering live on Classic 92.3 FM Juba radio station, which was broadcasted in a 30-minutes talk show programme with presenter DJ Moses in Sudan.
Mr Ananth with others delegates from the Malaysian Education had the privileged of promoting and discussing the advantages of studying abroad programs in a special segment called “Education Opportunities in Malaysia”.
