BACHELOR OF COMPUTER SCIENCE (HONS)
The Bachelor of Computer Science (Hons) programme focuses on the study of information processes and creating computer programs. It engages the graduate in the process of writing codes and applying complex algorithms to design computer software that can produce innovative methods for using technology.
From the music you listen to on your smartphone to the operating system of the smartphone itself, the application of computer science has become integral to our daily lives. In fact, your favourite apps such as WhatsApp, Waze, Grab and others require computer science to exist.
Computer models are valuable in almost every field. In medicine, computer science is used to diagnose diseases and examine the internal organs of the body. Advanced computer-based systems are also used to examine the delicate organs of the body. The industry is responsible for inventing new approaches to computing, new types of hardware and software, and solving computing problems within various industries.
