BACHELOR OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (HONS) IN HOSPITALITY AND TOURISM MANAGEMENT

The Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) in Hospitality & Tourism Management is designed to prepare students for management-related work in the hospitality and tourism sectors. Our programme gives a broad coverage of the best practices in the industry. Critical soft skills are embedded in the coursework. The programme also paves the way for developing an analytical mindset crucial for managers and leaders in the field. Core components of the three-year undergraduate programme contain industry input that exposes our students to real-life situations.

Entry Requirement

A pass in STPM with a minimum of Grade C (GPA 2.00) in any two (2) subjects, or its equivalent; 

OR

A pass in STAM with a minimum grade of Maqbul or its equivalent; 

OR

Matriculation/Foundation with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 or its equivalent; 

OR

A Diploma (Level 4, MQF) with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 or its equivalent.

OR

Any other equivalent qualifications accepted HEP’s Senate.

English Competency Requirement (International Students)

Minimum score of 5.0 in IELTS OR Malaysian University English Test (MUET) with Band 3 OR its equivalent.

Students’ abilities are gauged through continuous assessments and final examinations. The continuous assessment component comprises of a combination of tests/quizzes, mid-term examinations, presentations, and projects / assignments that account for 60 to 100 marks, depending on the course. The balance of the marks is allocated for the final examination.
