Research experience

  • Phase II clincal trial on determination of Naltrexone dosage for narcotic agonist blockade in detoxified asian addicts, 1985 in collaboration with Division of Analytic and Drug development studies, Drug research centre, USM, Penang.
  • Open study to evaluate the Efficacy and safety of Clozapine in the Management of Drug Resistant Schizophrenia in Hospital Bahagia Ulu Kinta.
  • Iloperidone Phase III trial, a prospective randomised multicentre, double blind flexible dose study to deermine the antpsychotic effect of iloperidone compared with haloperidol and to determine the safety in schizophrenic patients in Hospital bahagia.
  • Study of causes of institutionalisation in Hospital Permai, Johor Bahru, 1980
  • Study of ‘amok syndrome’ and Psychiatric illness leading to criminal offences in Hospital Bahagia, 2001.
