Quest International University Perak (QIUP) today inked a partnership MOU with Aberystwyth University at a ceremony held at QIUP campus in Ipoh.
Signing on behalf of QIUP was Mr. Nicholas Goh, Chief Operating Officer while Professor Jo Crotty, Director, Institute of Business and Law, Aberystwyth University and Chair, Professor of Management signed on behalf of Aberystwyth University.
An elated Mr. Nicholas Goh explained that this MOU was part of QIUP’s vision to tie-up with world-renowned universities to raise the standard of education at the University.
“We might be a young university, but we have a very big heart. This MOU is in line with our vision to work with renowned institutions around the globe to ensure we constantly evolve to meet market demands. I was very delighted when the opportunity to tie up with Aber came along as we think alike in terms of constantly looking to improve ourselves” elaborated Mr. Goh.
Professor Jo Crotty acknowledged and shared QIUP’s vision of always looking to be associated with the best.
“Aberystwyth University has been around since 1872 while QIUP is a young university. It is not about how old you are but how hungry you are to constantly evolve to be the best. Aber shares the same aspirations with QIUP in terms of providing the best for students and I see this MOU as the first step towards many more collaborations to come” said Prof Jo.
The MOU today will also see the exchange of students and teaching expertise between both the institutions and exploring areas of mutual interest for collaboration.
Aberystwyth University is a public research university in Aberystwyth, Wales. Aberystwyth was a founding member institution of the former federal University of Wales.
