Quest International University today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with financial technology company Finterra Technologies Sdn Bhd that will see both parties working together on Blockchain technology.
In our latest partnership, QIU and Finterra will cooperate on awareness programmes, industrial training and internships for our students, and research and development initiatives.
More good news: thanks to the new MoU, QIU students will also be able to use and build Finterra’s Gallactic Blockchain!
The MoU signatories during today’s event were QIU Vice-Chancellor Professor, Dato’ Dr Raman Narayanasamy and Finterra Managing Director, Mr Satesh Khemlani. QIU’s Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology, Professor Dr Vilasini Pillai and Finterra’s Head of Alliance, Mr David Swinburne were also on hand to witness the signing.
But the cooperation started even earlier on Wednesday (Dec 12), as a team of Finterra experts gave our students and staff a talk on the inner workings, usability, and advantages of the expanding Blockchain technology.
It was a lively event, and our students took part in a spirited Q&A session. Everyone learned more about Blockchain, and some students also won free goodies like pens and T-Shirts–congratulations to them!
We would like to thank our friends in Finterra for their illuminating talk and promising partnership. Here’s to a fruitful and successful collaboration!
