At QIU, the lessons shared in the classroom are designed to be as industry-relevant as possible. And there is no better platform to practise this knowledge than the real world.

Recently, students from the Faculty of Business and Management (FBM) and the Faculty of Social Sciences (FSS) joined forces to present an industry-related proposal to 18CTEA – one of Ipoh’s most famous bubble-tea stores.

The proposal presentation was part of the coursework assignment for students taking Product and Brand Management and Copywriting subjects.

Besides giving our students invaluable experience, the proposal was also historic for being the first collaboration between the two faculties.

The proposal was presented to Mr Vincent Koo, who is the Marketing & Business Development Consultant for 18C Master Sdn Bhd.

Mr Koo lauded our students for the level of detail and insight they put into the presentation.
He was also impressed with the creativity of the students’ concept delivery, which was a testament to their teamwork and initiative.

We’d like to express our gratitude to 18CTEA for their support, and also congratulate the students and lecturers from FBM and FSS on this successful initiative!
