Examinations Requirements
Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) A pass in STPM with a minimum 2.00 CGPA or Grade C in any two (2) subjects
General Certificate of Education
Advanced (“A”) levels
Full passes in two (2) subjects
Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) A pass in STAM with a minimum of Jayyid
SAM / AUSMAT / UNSW Foundation / HSC  / MUFY / CIMP / CPU Pass
Foundation / Government Matriculation Pass with CGPA 2.00 recognised by the Malaysian Government
Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) A minimum of Grade B in five (5) subjects
Indian Higher School Certificate (HSC) Pass with Grade C in any three (3) subjects
Diploma Pass with CGPA 2.00 recognised by the Malaysian Government
International Baccalaureate (IB) Pass with 24 points
Bangladesh Higher School Certificate (HSC) A minimum of grade B in any three (3) subjects
Other Qualifications Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government

Assessment

Students’ ability is gauged through both continuous assessment and a final exam.  The continuous assessment component comprises tests/quizzes, mid-term examination, practical and projects/assignments which accounts for an allocation of 50% – 60% of the course.  The balance 40% – 50% is allocated for the final examination.  Other qualifications will be assessed based on Senate’s recommendation and refer to MQA for approval on a case by case basis.
