The Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) programme provides an in-depth understanding of how businesses are organised, strategies developed, decisions taken, and how a confluence of these factors impact their ability to compete effectively.

The programme combines courses related to business and management with those that expose students to the relevant knowledge of information technology (IT) and social studies, and English language communication skills. Such exposure to a wider spectrum of academic, social, and communication contents provide students an integrated learning experience and an appreciation of how these related disciplines impinge upon business environment and workings.

The offering of a combination of courses in the programme allows for greater flexibility in the choice of a career as students can choose among three areas of specialisation: Management, Marketing Management, or Human Resource Management. The specialisation is achieved by complementing core business courses with designated elective courses that pertain to the specific area of concentration.

As part of the efforts to ensure that our graduates can fit in and adapt to the working environment, students enrolled in this programme must go through a three-month intensive industrial training. By interning in a company within a particular industry, students will gain substantial exposure to valuable business practices and insights as well as acquiring certain competencies critical for specific jobs.

Apart from the industrial training students are further required to immerse themselves in the practical aspects of business management by undertaking a final year project (FYP).  This requirement entails a student submitting, by the end of the final year, a report on a project of interest relating to running and managing a business in the ever challenging and uncertain environments.
